LeAnn Rimes and Special Guest November, 12, 2010 7:30 PM
A 13-year-old LeAnn Rimes took the music world by storm in 1996 with the release of "Blue." Compared by critics to Patsy Cline, the little girl with the big voice sold 37 million albums and amassed two Grammy Awards, three Academy of Country Music honors and 12 Billboard Awards – all before the age of 25. As an artist, she's matured into a songwriter of considerable depth and as a vocalist. Her vocal ability has also brought Rimes to comparisons to past teenage country stars, including '50's country star, Brenda Lee and '70's country star, Tanya Tucker.
Rimes has released ten studio albums and four compilation albums through her record label of 13 years, Asylum-Curb, and placed over 40 singles on American and international charts since 1996. She has sold over 40 million albums worldwide with genres in country, pop, and adult contemporary music.

Danny Gokey and Special Guest November, 19, 2010 7:30 PM
From his days of long hours as a truck driver to his third place finish on Idol, Danny Gokey has always been a student of life. With an artist's eye for detail and an inquisitive spirit eager to learn from every situation, Gokey has soaked up more life experience than most people twice his age. From the joyful to the heartbreaking, those experiences infuse Gokey's 19 Recordings/RCA Nashville debut, My Best Days, a collection of songs that resonate with honest emotion and tap into the collective hopes and dreams that define life. That album was released on March 2, 2010. It debuted on the Billboard charts at #4 and was the highest debut by a male Country performer in 18 years. Gokey also has the highest debut of digital downloads sold by any new Country artist ever!
Danny credits his late wife, Sophia, with the inspiration to pursue his musical dreams on Idol, and he continues to honor her with the charitable work of the Sophia's Heart Foundation, founded in her memory.

Cab Calloway Orchestra Christmas Show Saturday, December 18th, 2010 2:00 PM & 7:30 PM
Through dance, music, language, dress, attitude and many other cultural developments, the Swing Era is recognized as the period in which America first discovered it's own unique multi-cultural voice on a global scale. Cab Calloway became the cultural epitome of the American Swing Era. In the late 1920's, Cab Calloway was the only major bandleader to have shared the stage under the legendary Jazz master, Louis Armstrong. The Calloway theme song, "Minnie the Moocher," was one of Cab's many wonderful works of American Urban Folklore about the culture and nightlife of Harlem. It became so popular that "Hi-de-hi-de-hi-de ho" became a catch phrase throughout the world.
Cab introduced his grandson, C. Calloway Brooks (CB) to the world on the Edward R. Murrow series "Person to Person" when CB was just a few weeks old infant. Decades later, Brooks went on to perform and study extensively with his grandfather during the 1970's, 1980's, and early 1990's. Now Brooks directs the Cab Calloway Orchestra and continues to delight audiences all over the world.

The Ides of March Saturday, February 26th, 2011 7:30 PM
Jim Peterik presents: Pennies from Heaven "How to Make Money as a Songwriter: at 3:00 PM
On October 16th, 1964; a basement in Berwyn, Illinois played host to four schoolboys, guitars, drums, and their dreams. From that meeting sprang platinum hits, Grammy awards, and a common bond that has lasted ever since. The IDES OF MARCH mark a rare milestone in any partnership, let alone rock and roll; they have remained together, with all the original members intact for over forty years.
Best remembered for their 1970 smash "Vehicle", the IDES (or their lead singer and songwriter Jim Peterik) have had hit records in each of the decades since that humble beginning. From the Brit-meets-Chicago Soul of their 1966 debut "You Wouldn't Listen" to the rousing sports anthem "Finally Next Year" that cheered the Cubs throughout their red-hot 2003 season, the IDES have combined shimmering vocal harmonies with their trademark driving brass section to forge a sound that is timeless and unforgettable.
In concert, the IDES OF MARCH remain a powerhouse rock and roll band that defies the fact that all of the members (save one) are on the plus side of 50 years of age. Their typical 90-minute concert usually lasts two hours, and the encores are always the strongest songs of the night.
Tickets are available at the Weill Center Ticket Office Weekdays from 10 AM to 5 PM Phone 920-208-3243 during Ticket Office Hours Ticket Price is $28.00, workshop only $10.00, performance and workshop $33.00

Rich Little Starring in Jimmy Stewart - A Humorous Look at His Life Saturday, March 26th, 2011 7:30 PM
A man of mimics over 200 voices, Rich Little began his career in Canada at the age of twelve when he answered back to his teachers in their own voices. To get dates, he'd find out the girls favorite actor, then call her up imitating that actor's voice. Then when Rich would show up, he'd say, "Sorry, Cary can't make it." While in his early 20's, he was "discovered" in the United States and with the help of his friend, Mel Torme, Little became a household word.
A professed classic movie buff, he's particularly fond of doing Alan Ladd and others who are no longer generally remembered, but Little has also latched on to Baby Boomer-friendly characters like Edith Bunker, Kermit the Frog, Robin Leach, and Dr. Ruth Westheimer, to name a few. His greatest fear? A sore throat. "Other people get a cold, and they just get a cold. I get a cold and John Wayne gets a cold, Orson Wells gets a cold, Nixon gets a cold…..
Before his friend Jimmy Stewart died in 1997, Little told him he'd been wanting to do a one-man show focused on the legendary actor. More than a dozen years later, Little's dream has finally come to fruition, right down to Stewart's stutter and stammer.
